# Music and beats

> Built-in tracks, your own songs, tempo, where the video starts in the song, and pace.

## Built-in tracks

The Music tab has free tracks in several styles: funk, gamer beats, retro wave, sci-fi, chill, lo-fi and more. They're public domain, so you can post them anywhere, including ads. Fast, hard tracks suit action footage. The full list with tempos is in the [agent reference](https://getrazzle.com/docs/agent-reference#music).

## Your own song

Press **Upload a track** to use a song from your computer. Razzle finds its tempo and beats in your browser, and the song never leaves your device. It's mixed into the MP4 only when you export or post.

> A song you bring is yours to clear. Instagram and YouTube may mute or block posts that use music without a licence.

## Tempo and where the video starts

- **Tempo (BPM):** found automatically. If it's off, tap along with **Tap**, or use **Half time** and **Double time**.
- **Start at bar:** which bar of the song the video starts on, always on a downbeat. **Jump to the loudest part** starts on the drop.
- **Beat markers:** on the timeline's audio track you can move the beats by hand. Words snap to your markers instead of the detected beats.
