AI agents (Claude Code, Codex)

Let an AI agent on your computer make Razzle videos from your own files, and carousels from your words.

What it does

AI agents that run on your computer, like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Claude Desktop, can use Razzle through its MCP server. Ask in plain words, and the agent uploads clips and photos from a folder, writes the words, cuts the footage on the beat, picks music and a look, and gives you a link to the video in Razzle. It makes carousels too: give it the topic or the words, and it writes the slides and picks a design. You preview, change anything, and post from there.

Set it up

  1. In Razzle, open Settings → AI agents and make a key. Copy it: it's shown once.
  2. Save the MCP server. It needs Node.js 18 or later.
  3. Add it to your agent with the command for it, below.

Claude Code:

Codex:

Claude Desktop, Cursor and others: add a razzle server to their MCP settings with the command node, the full path to the file, and RAZZLE_API_KEY in its environment. Settings → AI agents shows the exact JSON.

With ffprobe installed (part of ffmpeg), the agent reads each clip's length, so cuts fit the footage.

What to ask

  • "Make a fast, punchy Razzle reel for FPV Grind from the clips in ~/Footage/october, with an action look."
  • "Use the Midnight palette on that video and add a badge that says Ships in 48h."
  • "Rewrite the hook, then re-cut the clips to the new words."
  • "Make a 6-slide carousel for Paudho on watering balcony plants in summer, in a design that suits tips."

How many

On Free, a team's agents can make 20 videos and carousels a month; editing one an agent made doesn't count. Agents think on their own model, so they never spend Razzle's AI credits. Pro has no limit. Settings → Usage shows the month so far.

What a key can do

A key acts as you, on your projects, uploads, videos and carousels only. It can't change your account, billing or team, and it doesn't post: you approve and post every video yourself. Remove a key in Settings → AI agents and it stops working at once; resetting your password or signing out of other devices ends every key. See the terms.
